Lilly's Cupcake
I've got a fun birthday card to share today. How cute is Lilly's Cupcake? Think this may be one of my favorite Whimsy and Stars images, it's so sweet. I've gone with a bright and cheerful color palette today.
Make sure and drop by Whimsy and Stars (right here) on Thursday for a new release, too. It's adorable. And as always with our release there will be a chance to win it! There are plenty of adorable images available right now (if you don't want to wait until Thursday, lol). And they are all on instant download, in the Etsy shop, so you can get your image as soon as you purchase it!
Thanks for stopping by today. Hope your week is off to a great start.

Amelie
Hi, everybody! Suzanne here with a new card featuring "Amelie", one of the many adorable girly images that you'll find in the Whimsy and Stars Studio Store!
She's a lovely image for this time of year, or for a special girl's birthday card, or just as an all-around sweet image to let someone know they're on your mind! (Don't forget, "Amelie" and all of the Whimsy and Stars Studio digi stamps are available through instant download in the etsy store!)

I colored Amelie to match the paper that I picked, adding some subtle pleats to the bottom of her dress and used a similar colored marker to add a pattern to her dress.
I hope you're a member of our Facebook group, because it's where we share our cards, ideas and surprises with all of the Whimsy and Stars Studio fans! If you haven't joined yet, we'd love to see you there!
Make sure to mark your calendar for our new release and digi showcase, which will be next Thursday, May 22 right HERE on the Whimsy and Stars Studio blog!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope your week has been going well so far!

Lucy's Cupcake
Hi friends, Michele here!
I'm back with a sweet little image from Whimsy and Stars Studio - Lucy's Cupcake...she's cute huh? And I don't even LIKE mice...but Lucy's pretty darn cute!
I made a one pocket gift sack out of a kraft sack. I folded up the bottom 3/4's, adhered some paper and stitched around the sides. I then used MFT's Staggered Heart border across the top of the designer paper. I cut the border once, then cut the individual hearts twice and pieced it all together. It's cute, but hard to see under the main image.

I colored cute little Lucy with Copics using puffy stuff on her party hat and glossy accents on the candle flame. The image was cut from PTI's notebook paper die; then some more designer paper was cut from the same die and tilted. The ribbon I have had F-O-R-E-V-E-R and haven't used in about that long; love how the colors worked perfectly though! I then added two tags from PTI's Tiny Tags die and matching stamp set. The heart I colored with a Copic marker then stamped with PTI's Polka Dot Basics two different times to have good coverage of polka dots, tied on a button with some twine and that's it. Quick, simple and cute!

Thanks for stopping by; hope you have a great day!!
Hugs,

Accessories: MFT Staggered Heart Border die, PTI Notebook die and Tiny Tags die, fluffy stuff, glossy accents, misc. ribbon, PTI Hawaiian Shores button

Rain or Shine
Hello Everyone, Brianna here from Happy Scrapper. I have a sweet little card to share with you all today using, Rain or Shine Friends.
I used my Silhouette cameo to trace my digi and then put a small offset around it to have a small boarder. I colored my digi using my Spectrum Noirs, colors used:
Big Girls Hair: TN3,TN8,EB3,EB4,BG7
Big Girls Clothing: TB3-TB5,BT3,GT1,GT2,CR3,CR5
Little Girls Hair: TN1,EB1,EB2
Little Girls Clothing: LY3,CT2,GB4
Skin tones are the same for both girls: FS2,FS4,FS9,CR3
Umbrella: BG3-BG5,BG7,BG8,BG10
Grass & Flowers: CG1,DG1,CG2,BP3,BP4
After my image was colored, I decided to add some glossy accents droplets to the umbrella to give the appearance of rain drops.
Pattern Papers:
Teal: CratePaper Pretty Party
Rain Drops: Pink Paisley, Hello Sunshine
Stickers: Freckled Fawn, OHMYDEER Kit
Ribbon: American Crafts
Hope you all enjoy, thank you for stopping by!
See you soon :D
