OCTOBER - BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH

Hi everyone!  It's Audrey from the DT here with you today, happy weekend!!  I hope you have had a wonderful week:)

Today I want to share a creation I made using Ribbon Girl which you can find at WHIMSY AND STARS STUDIO SHOP and it's available for Instant Download - yay!!

I have colored ribbon girl up for today's post in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness month.   I decided to bring a more serious tone to today's post to show my support of anyone and everyone who has been affected by this disease.  Breast Cancer is a disease which I believe has touched all our lives in some way - whether personally, through a friend, relative, co-worker, etc.   I want to offer prayers to anyone living with this horrible disease, hope and continued strength to those who have beat it and condolences to anyone who has lost someone to Breast Cancer.  I truly hope that 1 day we will find a way to beat this disease once and for all.

Thank you everyone for celebrating with us our first Christmas Digi Release of the season! It is so wonderful to welcome October. Here in Florida we are starting to enjoy a bit of lower temperatures and wonderful breezes...can't wait to start celebrating our Fall holidays and enjoy all the wonderful gatherings.

Happy Sunday!  I hope all is well with you, and that you had some time this weekend to create a card or two for World Cardmaking Day!  This craft, we all love so dearly has brought so many of us together from all parts of the world.  We share an incredible bond through our common interest, and are one another's biggest fans!  I cherish the friends I have made thru this wonderful "paper community", and look forward to making new one's along the way! :)

Snowman and Girl

Happy Saturday and Happy World Card Making Day! 

Ellie here today, sharing a new card that I made, using the super sweet digi Snowman and Girl. You can find this cutie HERE at the Whimsy and Stars Studio Etsy shop.

I colored the image using copic markers. It has been cut out using my cutterbee scissors. It's a little hard to tell in the photo, but I made some "hills" using parts of oval diecuts, and applied glitter to the edges. I used designer paper and sentiment from Whimsy Stamps. Embellished with some twine and a brad, and of course I had to add some glitter!

Here is a list of copic markers used, in case anyone is interested. 

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, R20

Snowsuit: E31, E33, E35, E37

Fur trims: W0, W2, W4

Reds: R22, R24, R27, R29

Greens: YG91, YG95
