"Owl the Same...or Not" Blog Hop Event!

 Welcome to our...

Thank you for joining our Blog Hop and supporting our Stamp Out Partnership Of Artists. I'm so happy to have the opportunity to be part of this event and this special group of artists.

A little about me...

My name is Mabelle Ramirez-Ortiz, I'm the illustrator behind Whimsy and Stars Studio designs. I'm the mom of two wonderful teens, married to my college sweetheart and live in sunny Florida, USA. Like many of you, I have a career outside from home (day job), I'm a busy & happy mom, wife and I work on my art at night each day. I have been part of the stamping community since 1998 when I began licensing my rubber stamp designs to the stamp company, The Angel Company. In 2010 I realized that I had many designs that were still in my sketchbooks that were never published so in the Fall of 2010 I launched my first collection of digital stamps. I love been able to release designs each month! And, just last year I began licensing my designs into clear acrylic stamps for The Crafts Meow stamp company. I just love our stamping community! It has been a blessing in my life and in the life of my family.

Stamp Out...

This past year I joined Stamp Out Partnership Of Artists after a fellow illustrator introduced me to the group. Having the support and advice of other artists and stamp companies has been a true blessing. Few years ago I had a few experiences of having other people use my designs improperly, copy or create a spin off of them or even distribute them without my consent. Those were disheartening occassions where I wish I had the advice of other artists, to know what to do and to ask for help.

Joining Stamp Out this past year has provided me with a source of sound advice, resources and support, I'm able to continue creating more stamp designs knowing that I have the support of a sound group of artist, companies and stamp artist supporters!

Thank you for joining me in our Stamp Out Blog and for supporting our artists and our families!
