Garden Joy

Happy Saturday everyone! Debra here. Mabelle asked me to be a guest designer this month and I was thrilled to create a few cards with her super sweet images.

 

The image I used today is Garden Joy - so love it.  When I colored this image, I was preparing to teach a beginners Copic coloring class, so I was going through all my books to refresh my memory of all the different techniques.  It has been a couple years. 

  

Cross-hatching kind of jumped out at me, as a technique I haven't used in quite awhile and perfect for her hat to create some texture.   Little did I know at the time that I would end up using 5 patterned papers on this card.  LOL!  I think that is a record for me.
